If your story is used in the research, here’s what that means:

It will be anonymised – personal details will be removed so no one knows who wrote it.
It may be quoted or summarised in research publications (like books or articles), or in presentations to show how young people imagine and describe social media.
It will be looked at alongside other stories to spot common ideas or themes.
It will not be marked or judged based on what it says about social media.

Anonymised means all personal information is removed, so nobody can tell who the story belongs to. It keeps your identity private and safe.
