The Young Writers Competition is part of a research project at Keele University. One of the aims is to give young people a chance to describe social media in their own words. How you choose to write about social media in your story will help adults see it from your point of view. That understanding could lead to new (and hopefully better!) ways for people - like teachers, researchers and people in government - to talk about social media and make decisions about it.

 

So, by writing a story, you’ll not only have the chance to win a prize, but you’ll also help adults understand how young people see the digital world.
